WOULD YOU LIKE TO HOST A CLINIC?
What you need to be a host:
1. We require you to post the info and sign up sheets so that participants can access the info and sign up. All deposits need to be received by Equinox Health for the participant’s spot to be secured so there is no requirement for you to accept deposits.
2. Access to a practical/hands on learning space for us and the horses – barn or arena – we can teach in just about any size area, but do need a place to get out of the elements. If outdoor areas are all that’s available – thats OK! We will just have to book in seasonal weather. This space is required for 2 to 3 hours depending on the clinic.
3. Area for power point portion of the course – coffee room, classroom, viewing area or corner of the barn – we require a dimly lit area to project powerpoint, and for students to be able to sit down – chairs or hay bales will do! This space is required for 2 to 3 hours depending on the clinic.
4. Equines! We will work with your horses – any breed, any size, over the age of 4. We require 1 horse for every 3 students (max 12 students per class on average). We ask that you choose horses that will prove reasonably quiet, patient and safe to work with for the students.
5. We do require saddles, ideally both english and western for the Saddle Fit – Part 1 and Part 2 clinics.
6. The minimum number of attendees is typically 6 but is subject to change based on location. The more travel required, the larger minimum number of attendees. We will provide this information to you prior to booking.
What we provide:
1. All learning materials.
2. Certificates of completion for all attendees.
3. Manuals or Handouts for all attendees.
Host Benefits:
Hosts are entitled to 1 complementary clinic spot as payment for use of the space. If you would like to arrange for alternate payment please contact Tralauney to discuss options 🙂
